Simple DIY Face Masks for Gorgeous Skin

The stresses of everyday life can wreck havoc on our skin, and while, all the fancy products available on the market today can work wonders…sometimes, all our skin needs is a little TLC from nature.
These all-natural simple facial treatments are easy to whip up and they will leave your skin feeling refreshed and looking gorgeous. Try one or all of them and let us know what you think.

{My favorite is the baking soda and orange juice one. Not only is it super easy to make but it left my skin glowing and feeling so fresh.}

To Calm Oily Skin
Ingredients
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
½ cup oatmeal (oats)
Oatmeal and egg yolk fight oily skin, while honey and olive oil moisturize. Mix ingredients together, apply and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry and follow with your usual moisturizer.

To treat breakouts
Ingredients
1 tbsp pure orange juice
1 tbsp baking soda
Baking soda exfoliates the skin and fights breakouts; the orange juice tightens pores and brightens your complexion. Combine the ingredients and apply a thin layer to your face and neck. Leave it on for 20 minutes. Try not to move your face during this time as this will cause the mask to flake. Rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry and apply moisturizer.

For Dry Skin
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup chopped avocado
1 egg white
2 teaspoons powdered milk
Combine all ingredients in a blender to a pasty consistency. Apply in circular upward motions to your face and neck, and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water followed by cold water.

To Brighten Skin
Ingredients
1/2 cup unripe diced pawpaw
1 teaspoon plain yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
Combine all ingredients in a blender to a smooth consistency. Apply and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cool water, pat dry and apply your usual moisturizer.
Note: The tingly sensation you'll get from this mask is due to the Alpha-Hydroxy acids and Papain in unripe pawpaw. If you have sensitive skin use ripe pawpaw instead which contains less Papain

To Clear Skin
Ingredients
Juice of half a lemon
1 Egg white
Beat the egg white and add it to the lemon juice. Mix thoroughly. Rub the mixture over your face and neck with either your hands or a clean cloth. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes.
Rinse off the mixture with warm water. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Follow with a cool water rinse to close pores.
