The bride who embraces nature…simple and beautiful!

The wedding is a day mainly for two people moving on from one stage in life and probably sharing their joy with those they love. This is the day a bride is expected to go all out to look amazingly different from the usual. However, people often forget that too much of anything can ruin you. Leave alone the tones of make up that has already been put on the bride, the accessories you wear in your hair could actually make you effortlessly beautiful on your day. One of the easiest and cost effective ways to do this is by embracing nature; accessorizing with some beautiful flowers of your choice to match your hairstyle. It may sound last century but this is a trend that many brides have pulled off with just ordinary flowers, after all beauty lies in the hands of the beholder!

Contrary to popular belief, flowers as hair accessories are not just for the summer and fancy outdoor activities like trips and boho brides, they can be made formal for any function depending on how you chose to wear them. There is a floral accessory and hairstyle combo to suit all kinds of brides and wedding styles from rustic to glam, vintage to modern and everything in between. However, one should consider what flowers will be used for their bouquet and centerpieces so that it does not However, wearing fresh flowers feels extra special but you should change the look after the long day because they may start to look a little wilted towards the end of the night.

Tips on how to pull off this look…
  •     Flowers make a beautiful addition to a wide variety of ‘hair up’ styles.
  •     If you are skeptical about the look, you could try fluffy peonies or ‘dinner plate dahlias’ or any big flower for a statement with one single, big, bold bloom.
  •     If you are looking for a fancy/playful look, delicate flowers woven into an everyday braid or fishtail braid will help u pull this off.
  •     Think about the amount and weight of the flowers you want to use as it’s important that you’re comfortable on the day too.
  •        Consider that most bridal flowers do not compliment veils.

Illegal Eye Candy ... !!!

A week ago it was reported in the media that three gentlemen from Dubai were returned to their country by the Saudi Arabian religious police- their crime? they were too handsome. At the Jenadrivah Heritage and Cultural Festival religious police in the highly conservative country stormed a stand manned by delegates from the United Arab Emirates and picked up three men claiming that “women will fall for them.” They were immediately deported back home as reported by Arabic language paper Elaph.

The internet is now buzzing with excitement after one Omar Borkan Al Gala, a Dubai native posted a link to the above story on his Facebook page. Let us see why:

Mr. Omar Borkan is a poet, an actor and a photographer.

Not to mention that he is so gorgeous; I can really understand why those religious police were so bothered…!!
He hasn’t denied any of the claims but he really is juicing the moment by posting more glam pics on his profile and making many a woman around the world swoon at his great looks.

“The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.” He wrote on his Facebook page and making his lady fans beg for him to visit their countries.
All I have to say is Damn He's HOT!!
We are a very hospitable nation Uganda  and we'll be glad to have you over any time.
In the mean time do keep posting those irresistable pics of you!
follow him and his poetry here.
Have a lovely week people.

Just one last one and am done... I promise!
